I would strongly suggest anyone with assets sitting in contracts (especially on staked SCRT or sSCRT / Secret Secret) move them out while you still can.
There is a very real risk the chain could halt. Secret Labs has been concentrating voting power into the Kraken validator. That validator is now sitting at (or extremely close to) 50% of the network’s voting power, and the number has been steadily climbing as Labs moves stake away from community validators.
In Cosmos SDK / Tendermint, a single validator with ≥50% voting power can unilaterally stop the chain from producing blocks. We can attempt a reboot/fork afterward, but there is a non-trivial risk that contract state (particularly encrypted state) is lost, misses certain things, or otherwise becomes unrecoverable.
We can protect native secret much easier, than we can protect sSCRT or wrapped assets (technically speaking).
